Leader: Mary Ann Brinkman
In our Children’s Ministry our goal is to help children develop a genuine love for Jesus, build their lives on the truth of God’s Word, connect in meaningful friendships, and discover their purpose at a young age.
What to Expect
You will be greeted as you enter the building with a friendly face and smile. Someone will direct you and your children to their age-appropriate area.
From Babies to Elementary age, our team wants to give your family an excellent experience.
Nursery/Preschool
After you arrive, someone will show you to our nursery/preschool area. There you will be greeted by one of our volunteers who has been through a back-ground check and training.
We know children have specific needs and schedules, so when you bring your child to the classroom, we have an easy-to-use form that you can fill out to let our team know the feeding, sleeping, and changing needs your child has. We will keep your child with us until you come back to pick them up.
Our Nursery/Preschool is a place for our youngest generation to learn about the love of Christ. During the service, your child will experience songs, Bible stories, and activities all built around these core values of
- God made the world and everything in it
- God made you
- God loves you
- Jesus wants to be your best friend
Elementary Age
Sunday Mornings
Bible study
9:30 - Elementary age kids meet together to explore God’s Word through Biblical teaching. Together, they learn that the Bible is God’s absolute truth, how to have a relationship with God, memorize Scripture, and have fun developing friendships with each other.
Worship Hour
10:30 - We want your child(ren) to grow up experiencing the joy and benefit of worshipping Him with the body of Christ. They will join their families in the sanctuary for the worship service. We provide “Worship Bags” for children during this time with quiet time activities to keep them engaged during the message.
Wednesday Evenings
Engaging in Praise and Worship
6:30 - We invite God’s presence into our lives through praise and worship, and we want your child(ren) to grow up experiencing the joy and benefit of worshipping Him. So, we begin by joining the adults in the sanctuary for a brief time of worship through song. After the praise time, children will leave for their age-appropriate areas.
Learning the Truth of God’s Word
6:45 - God tells us to hide His Word in our hearts (Psalm 119:11 NIV). One of the most important ways we help your children build a biblical foundation for their lives is by filling their minds and hearts with God’s Truth through exploring God’s Word. We want them to know that the Bible is God’s absolute truth. They learn about the Bible and how to have a relationship with God, while having fun developing healthy friendships with each other.
We believe the best way we can help your kids develop a strong spiritual foundation is by partnering with you, their family. Together, we can help encourage, train, and pray for them as they grow in their faith.
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth. 3 John 1:4 NIV
